What is “the vision” you may ask?
Well, as much as I want to say that I am in love with accounting, the truth be told is that my vision of “the difference I want to make in this world” goes far beyond the office.
Development of Youth Sports in Canada
A big vision and initiative that I am going to be pushing this year is to get the business community involved with youth sport (12-20) development in BC and Canada.
This vision is based on two principles: Involvement and Excellence.
I will be running programs to develop the necessary funds and networks not only to give youth the opportunity to participate in sports at all levels, but for those who have the talent and want to take their sporting ability to the next level, there are avenues to do so.
I also plan on creating a program where professionals (CA’s, Consultants, etc.) can volunteer their time to help develop the business models of youth sport organizations such as Soccer BC, Volleyball Canada, etc.
